Our Club, The Fly Fishers of Northwest Florida (FFNWF), is proud to be affiliated with the nationwide organization , Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. We provide volunteers to run the PHWFF program, teach courses in fly tying, fly casting and custom fly rod building. Our club also works to provide fishing outings for our associated veterans and members in both fresh and salt water locations. We are all volunteers and depend on donations and fund raising events to pay for our activities.  Our club also provides, at very modest cost, a fly fishing school each year in March which runs for nine weeks and covers all aspects of fly fishing, fly casting and fly tying for both fresh and salt water activity.
